Help Someone Attend HCRI´s Life-Changing Therapy

Give to the HCRI Stuttering Therapy Scholarship Fund

Donate Now

Thanks to the generosity of HCRI alumni and friends, we establishedthe HCRI Stuttering Therapy Scholarship Fund to make therapy a reality for people who otherwise could not afford treatment. As a result, these individuals´ lives have been transformed through fluency and new doors of opportunity have opened for them.

The cost to participate in HCRI´s scientifically based therapy program is $4,500, which is priced to meet ournon-profit Institute´s actual costs of research and therapy delivery.
Scholarships range from $500 to full tuition, and are awarded according to each person´s individual circumstances.

Gifts of all sizes are sought and may be made via check or credit card. You may also designate a specific recipient for your scholarship, if you choose. Individuals who give $1,000+ annually receive special recognition as Hollins Society members.

Named Scholarships

HCRI supporters make an annual scholarship gift of $10,000 or more for five years will have a scholarship named on their behalf (or in recognition of a friend or loved one).

Those who give an endowed scholarship of $100,000 or more will also be honored with a perpetual named scholarship. The Rose Flaum Scholarship is one of Institute´s named scholarships, which has made therapy possible for many deserving people who stutter. HCRI alumnus Sander Flaum created the scholarship to honor his mother.

Inventing the Future - Operating Fund

Donate Now

This general operating fund is essential to HCRI and supports therapy administration, hiring and training of clinicians, research initiatives, technological advancements, and operational needs.

Research and Technology Fund

Donate Now

HCRI has continued to stay on the leading edge of therapy delivery by conducting ongoing research and developing technologies that enhance fluency outcomes. For example, HCRI is currently creating a technology that precisely measures and tracks fluency target details in real time. This breakthrough capability will help therapy participants acquire and maintain speech targets with greater consistency and accuracy.

In addition, HCRI researchers are close to isolating the cause of stuttering that could lead to a cure. Contributions to the Research and Technology Fund will enable HCRI to continue work on these and other key initiatives that positively impact people´s lives today and in the future.
