Q.
When I view the Windows Video, it is fuzzy: |
|
A.
The HCRI widows videos were designed to be very small for faster
retrieval for dial up modems while still maintaining quality sound.
If you see a fuzzy or distorted video, reduce the size of the windows
video window. As the window shrinks, you will see a smaller, but
clearer image. Please listen to the sound... it is the most important
feature. These people were not able to speak this way before
attending HCRI.

Q.
The QuickTime Videos loads too slowly: |
|
A.
The HCRI QuickTime videos are specifically for High Band Internet.
This includes users that have DSL, Cable or T-Lines. You can
certainly wait on the QuickTime movies through a dial up service if
you wish, but it will be much faster if you choose the Windows
version of the Video. Once you download a video, you should be able
to view it over and over without having to wait so long to download
it again.

alumni that could not speak this way before. If you cannot see the
video, please download the free and latest version of

Q.
I can see the Video, but I cannot hear it play: |
|
A.
Please check your computers speaker power and volume along with your
sound cables to ensure that they are properly plugged in. Generally
speaking, if you see the video and all audio cables are connected
properly to your computer. If you generally hear audio through your
computer, and you are still having problems, download the free and
latest version of either Windows
Media Player or QuickTime
Video Player.
